A Sweet 16

A Woman's Place held its 16th annual Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy fundraiser Saturday at Bucks County Community College

A Woman's Place held its 16th annual Chocolate Lovers' Fantasy fundraiser Saturday at Tyler Hall on the Newtown Campus of Bucks County Community College.

The evening included hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, live entertainment, a live and silent auction and, of course, chocolate. The main attraction was a 55-foot spread of chocolate desserts donated from area businesses and supporters. A large, dark chocolate fountain anchored the display.

A Woman’s Place (AWP) is a local nonprofit that provides support services for domestic abuse victims and their children. Services include a free 24-hour confidential hotline, a shelter, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, and a children’s program.
