A Night of Laughter and Song to Feature Comedian Chris Rich

Rich, who has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, will be performing at The Temperance House Saturday

Comedian Chris Rich, who has opened for Jerry Seinfeld and has been featured on Comedy Central, will be the headline act at this weekend.

A Night of Laughter and Song, to be held this Saturday at 8 p.m. at The Temperance House, will feature Comedian Pat Barker as emcee. The lineup includes John Conklin, who will sing Motown hits from the Stylistics, Smokey Robinson, The Delphonics, and Little Anthony. Rich will headline the show.

Rich is a comedian from Yardley who has toured nationally. She was the winner of the Bud Light Ladies of Comedy contest and has appeared on Comedy Central’s "Premium Blend."

Erica Darragh, general manager of The Temperance House, said the evening will be an enjoyable night out held in the non-smoking section of the building.

“While A Night of Laughter and Song isn’t our first foray into comedy, depending on its success, we’re looking to offer it on a somewhat regular basis,” she said.

The event is hosted by Mike Dougherty Productions, a company that specializes in producing comedy shows for a variety of venues, including clubs, restaurants, and fundraisers, as well as corporate events.

Tickets to A Night of Laughter and Song are $20, which includes one glass of wine or beer. Showtime is at 8 p.m. Drinks and the tavern menu will be available during the show. If you have dinner at The Temperance House before the show, you’ll get 10 percent off your check.
