Bucks County Community College is hosting a bus trip to Philadelphia’s “Gayborhood” this week.

Students and the general public are invited to join professor Jim Fillman to explore the city’s vibrant gay community, which includes artists, activists and merchants.  The bus leaves the college’s Newtown campus Thursday at 3 p.m.

“Learn about gay rights, struggles and triumphs as you tour Camac Street, Antiques Row, Giovanni's Room and the William Way Community Center, and experience the splendid "Pride" mural,” according to the event posting on Bucks County Community College’s website.
