AHTN Food Drive to Support First Fourth Celebration

First Fourth in Newtown is right around the corner, and organizers announced this week that a food drive has been added to the lineup of events, which also include a parade, fireworks, and party.

The celebration is this Saturday, July 2.

The parade starts at 3 p.m. near Old St. Andrew’s Church and will go down Sycamore Street to the Green Parrot.

Advocates for Homeless and Those in Need will be collecting non-perishable food items during Newtown's First Fourth parade.  The organization’s transportation vehicle -- known as Delilah -- will be there for the collection. AHTN is an interfaith organization of community volunteers that serves Lower Bucks County’s less fortunate, especially its homeless.
