Bucks County Community College Book Discussion Group

The Bucks County Community College Book Discussion Group – one of the longest-running public book groups in the county – invites newcomers to its monthly meetings this fall. The free, informal gatherings take place on the second Thursday of each month during the academic year on the college’s Newtown campus.

The following titles will be discussed this semester:

  • Oct. 13  The Last September by Elizabeth Bowen
  • Nov. 10: No Crystal Stair by Eva Rutland
  • Dec. 8: The Imperfectionist by Tom Rachman

Founded in 1988, the Bucks County Community College Book Discussion Group meets from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month in the Student Lounge, located next to the Fireside Lounge on the lower level in the Rollins Center. The campus is at 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, Pa. For snow closing information, call 215-968‑8000 or visit www.bucks.edu. On the radio, the college code for snow closing is 2760.
