End Days, an often-poignant comedy by Deborah Zoe Laufer, explores the struggles of the Stein family, New Yorkers who fled the city for the safety of the suburbs after 9/11. Aided by a zany collection of social supports including a young Elvis impersonator, an imaginary Jesus and physicist Stephen Hawking, the Steins slowly find their way back to solid ground and one another.
