MERMAIDS SPLASH INTO NEW HOPE! Children’s Author Debbie Dadey Comes Ashore to Visit Farley's Bookshop!

Debbie Dadey, award winning author of Mermaid Tales, a brand new series of children’s books that tells about the adventures of the young merkids of Trident Academy, will be signing copies of her books at Farley’s Bookshop located at 44 South Main Street in New Hope on September 1st from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The third book in the series entitled Whale of a Tale was released yesterday.

“What little girl hasn’t dreamed of being a mermaid?” Dadey said. So she wrote Mermaid Tales, the charming adventures of the merkids of Trident Academy.  But Dadey wasn’t satisfied with creating just fun chapter books, so she added real ocean creatures, complete with a glossary and a touch of ecology to make the stories a well-rounded experience. “It was natural to combine my fondness for ocean creatures with the need to protect them.  I hope every reader comes away happy with the story and with a love for the ocean, even if they live far from it!”
