Like Strawberries? You're In Luck

The annual Newtown Presbyterian Strawberry Festival is Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Historic Church.

Strawberry lovers will have plenty to sink their teeth into Saturday, as Newtown Presbyterian Church hosts its annual Strawberry Festival at the Historic Church on Sycamore Street.

The festival goes from 12 to 4 p.m. and will feature fresh strawberries, plus an array of tasty treats, including strawberry shortcake, baked goods, hot dogs, lemonade, birch beer and Lancaster County cheeses.

The Council Rock Band and The Boys of County Bucks will be performing music. New this year, the church's Youth Group will sell pretzels and the Women's Bible Study is sponsoring a flea market. The church's Congregational Life Committee is organizing a Kids Corner and crafts, as well as an antique appraisal fair, compliments of Stephenson Auction.
