Movies in the Park, the popular outdoor film series, will be back this year.
Newtown Borough Mayor Dennis O'Brien announced Tuesday that the free movie screenings at will again be offered to residents. Movies in the Park is sponsored by Newtown Borough Parks and Recreation.
According to organizers, the evening movies will be screened Wednesdays starting June 20 and going through Aug. 1. There will be no film on Wednesday, July 4.
Movie titles have not yet been selected, organizers said. However, typically the selections are geared towards children and are family-friendly.
Linton Memorial Park is located at Penn Street and South Lincoln Avenue.
