Newtown Arts Company Holding Auditions for 'The Taffetas'
Auditions for "The Taffetas, A Musical Journey Through the Fabulous Fifties" by Rick Lewis will be held Friday and Saturday.
Newtown Arts Company will hold auditions this weekend for "The Taffetas, A Musical Journey Through the Fabulous Fifties" by Rick Lewis.
Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State St.
According to an announcement on Patch, Director Mary Liz Ivins and Music Director Susan den Outer are seeking four female leads for this "high energy" musical journey.

Rehearsals begin in February. Performances are April 3 through 9 at the Newtown Theatre.
Those auditioning should 18 or older and be prepared to sing a 1950-1960s era song. A piano accompanist will be provided. (No CDs and a capella discouraged.)
