Newtown Arts Company's Newest Production Opens Thursday

Newtown Arts Company will present “On Golden Pond” by Ernest Thompson beginning Thursday. Performances are at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N. State Street.

Showtimes are Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m. 

"The difficulties facing a spirited and lovable couple in their twilight years, the challenging relationship between father and daughter, and the generation gap between young and old, all combine to give 'On Golden Pond' a touching, funny, and warmly perceptive insight into a timeless family," the Arts Company said in an announcement on Patch.
