PLANT SWAP
What: Newtown Township Parks and Recreation will host a plant swap. Participants can trade plants and seeds.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
What: Newtown Township Parks and Recreation is partnering with the parks and recreation departments of Middletown Township and Bucks County to host an Earth Day celebration. The event will feature giveaways, green businesses, a Hybrid Septa bus, arts and crafts, inflatable amusements and local nature centers. There will also be electronics recycling, live music and free activities for kids.
When/where: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Core Creek Park in Langhorne.
Cost: Free
DANCE FOR A CURE
What: The Debra Sparks Dance Works is hosting its third annual Dance For A Cure event. Geo Hubela, creator, choreographer and director of ICONic Dance Crew (as seen on MTV's “America's Best Crew”) will be at the studio that day to teach two master classes.
When/where: Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the studio, 50 Walnut Ave.
Cost: $40 per dancer
DRUG TAKE BACK
What: Residents can drop off unwanted prescription medications for safe disposal at various locations.
When/where: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2p.m. Drop off sites include the Newtown Township Administration Building, Newtown Fire Association and Richboro Shop N Bag.
Cost: Free
BUCKS FIT 5K
What: Northampton Township Parks and Recreation is hosting the BucksFit 5K Run and Walk, which will benefit One Fund Boston, which supports victims of the Boston Marathon bombing earlier this month.
When/where: Sunday at Northampton Township Municipal Park. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. The 5K run begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by the 1K at 9 a.m.
Cost: $20; $2 from each registration will go to One Fund Boston
