Annual Egg Hunt Set for March 23

The annual Easter Egg Hunt in Newtown Borough is sponsored by the Newtown Business Association.

The Newtown Business Association will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 23 at 9 a.m. 

The free event will be held at Pickering Manor Field in Newtown Borough. 

"All are welcome to attend this traditional holiday activity celebrating the joy and fun of a good old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt for both children and adults," a Business Association press release said.

Those who would like to attend should simply come to Pickering Manor North Field, at the corner of Frost Street and Lincoln Avenue, at 9 a.m. sharp.  

Member businesses of the NBA will donate prizes for the event and the First National Bank of Newtown will provide more than 3,000 plastic Easter eggs to be filled with prizes and candy donated by Sam’s Club.

Plus, the Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet the children. 

The event is sponsored by Kumon Math and Reading Center. The rain date is March 30.
