While gas prices declined in March, oil prices crept higher; both are indicators of an economic recovery, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.
The national average this week is $3.637 for a gallon, down 2.1 cents from last week.
In Bucks and Montgomery Counties, gas prices dropped another 2.6 cents a gallon to an average of $3.625, that’s 27.4 cents lower than last year’s prices.

The Pennsylvania average retail price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is $3.653, down 2.1 cents from a week ago.
Nearby, the cheapest price for regular is $3.79 at the BP in Wrightstown.
