Help Save Newtown Hardware House

The Advance reports that the Newtown Hardware House has launched a bumper sticker campaign to spread awareness of the importance of supporting local businesses.

The Advance reported Wednesday that the , which has been in business on State Street for 142 years, is facing tough times.

To spread the word about the importance of shopping local, the Hardware House has started a bumper sticker campaign. The store has printed 500 bumper stickers that read "Save Newtown Hardware."

The stickers are for sale at the Hardware House, 108 South State St.
