Local Businesses Getting Ready To Eat, Meet and Greet

Newtown Business and Professional Association's Fifth Annual Business Expo will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Newtown Athletic Club.

The Newtown Business and Professional Association is getting ready to “Eat, Meet and Greet” during its Fifth Annual Business Expo.

The expo will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Newtown Athletic Club. The theme of this year’s expo is Eat, Meet and Greet and will focus on NBPA’s member restaurants.

The event is free and open to the public.

The expo will feature samples of local cuisine and coupons from several area restaurants, including Palate, The Green Parrot, The Temperance House, La Stalla and more. In addition, NBPA member businesses will be exhibit their products and services. There will also be door prizes.

In honor of the Newtown Business and Professional Association’s upcoming 60th anniversary, the organization’s board has decided to modify the name of the group to the Newtown Business Association. A logo design contest is being conducted to created a new, updated brand for the organization. All submitted logos will be revealed at the Business Expo and attendees can vote for their favorite design.

In addition, Bucks County Commissioners Diane Ellis Marseglia, Charles Martin and Robert Loughery will attend the expo and be available to answer questions about the state of Bucks County.  Pre-submitted questions will be answered at the event in a public forum.  To submit a question, email Amy M.B.
