NAC Hosting Second 'Night Out' Event

Just because you’re in shape doesn’t mean you don’t like to have fun.

The Newtown Athletic Club has started a “NAC Night Out” event at the on Sycamore Street. The first NAC Night Out was held June 30 and a second is planned for Wednesday, July 27.

More than 80 members and staff turned out to the inaugural NAC Night Out to socialize outside of the gym, said NAC Marketing and Public Relations Director Linda Mitchell. There were drink and food specials available for all NAC members, including $2 beers, $2 off any glass of wine and $6 appetizers.

“The whole thing was great fun and gave everyone a chance to relax and let loose,” Mitchell said.  

She added that NAC members gathered on the side porch, and members of the public also joined to learn about the club. Staff members shared gym guest passes with interested Green Parrot patrons.

Those same specials will be in place for the NAC Night Out later this month, which will be held from 7 to 10 p.m., also at the Green Parrot. Just show your gym membership card to your server.
