New this year is the “five for four" special.  Dine at any participating establishment four times during Restaurant Week and the fifth dinner is free compliments of Newtown Corporation.

"This is a great opportunity to try Newtown’s diverse selection of fine restaurants and to give back to the community," Maria Porambo of the Newtown Corporation said in a press release.

Not only will residents be able to sample menus from a variety of restaurants, but the week-long event will benefit the community. For every meal purchased, $5 will be split between a fund to benefit the First Fourth Fireworks and the Newtown Corporation.

First Fourth Fireworks lost its funding last year and this event will help to keep this tradition alive, Porambo said.
