Qdoba to Open in Newtown

The Board of Supervisors on Wednesday approved a conditional use application by Qdoba to open its first Bucks County location in the Village at Newtown West shopping center.

Qdoba has received approval from Newtown Township to open a location at the Village at Newtown West shopping center.

The Board of Supervisors on Wednesday approved a conditional use application by Qdoba to open its first Bucks County location. The Mexican eatery will be located at 2950 South Eagle Rd, in a 2,800 square-foot space that was previously a doctor's office.

There will be no change in the building footprint during construction of the restaurant, however, dormers will be added to the roof and stucco will replace the existing siding.

The eatery was also granted permission to construct an outdoor patio on a portion of the land that is currently concrete and landscaping.

According to Valerie Coburn, Qdoba's regional recruiter, the Newtown location is slated to open in September or October.
