Sign Goes Up at NAC Outdoor Pool

Work continues at the Newtown Athletic Club's new outdoor pool, which is expected to open for Memorial Day weekend.
Patch spotted workmen putting up an exterior sign Wednesday.
Though the pool will be open for the holiday weekend, it close for four days after so crews can tie up some loose ends, said Linda Mitchell, the club's director of marketing and public relations.

The pool will then reopen for good on June 1, Mitchell added.
The club originally anticipated opening the pool the weekend prior to Memorial Day and had a grand opening party planned for this weekend. The party has been postponed until June.
