Acme grocery stores will be sold, parent company Supervalu announced Thursday. The sale includes the Acme in Newtown Township, as well as 107 other Acme stores.

3. Preliminary Plans for State Street Project Approved

The plans include a three-story building at South State and Penn streets that would feature a wine and spirits store on the ground level with residential units above.

Anthropologie will no longer be the anchor tenant for The Promenade project but a groundbreaking will still likely occur in late March or early April.

1. Trailer Park Plans Likely to be Reviewed by Township at Feb. 5 Meeting

The Planning Commission will be the first to review the plans for the proposed mobile home park at the Newtown Swim Club. It is not known yet if the applicant is seeking waivers or variances, Solicitor Jeffrey Garton said.
