It's no suprize. Green Parrot plans to go all out in celebration of St. Patrick's Day and the festivities begin today. It is hosting the Newtown Irish Festival beginning at noon and continuing through Saturday.
The restaurant plans to set up a 30 by 90 foot tent on Silo Drive, where there will be live music, dancing and special Irish fare. Dishes include corned beef and cabbage and shepherd’s pie.

There will be live Irish music in both the event tent and the restaurant. Performers include The Boys of County Bucks, McHugh and O’Neill, Ray Coleman, The Naturals, and The Interns. DJ Johnny Bones will be spinning hits late night in the pub.
