Wrightstown Farmers Market Expands Winter Hours

Wrightstown Farmers Market's winter mini-markets will now be held twice a month instead of just once.

The Wrightstown Farmers Market is making it easier for you to get fresh, local food over the winter months.

The winter mini markets will now be held twice a month instead of just once. The mini markets will be held on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from this weekend to April 26. Mini market hours are from 10 to 11 a.m. at the regular location, 2203 Second Street Pike in Wrightstown.

More than 20 vendors plan to participate in the mini markets, according to information from organizers. This year, there will be two produce farmers who will be bringing freshly harvested greens along with their storage root crops, all grown with organic practices, according to market organizers.

In addition, there will be pasture-raised beef, pork, chicken, turkey and dairy products. Plus, there will be organic, fair-trade, locally-roasted coffee, gluten free meals, freshly baked breads, cookies, pies, apples, cider, organic maple syrup, handmade soaps and more.
