Zoe's Kitchen Approved for Goodnoe Corner Location

Zoe's Kitchen, a fast-casual concept restaurant, will open at Goodnoe's Corner in the space formerly occupied by Cosi.

Zoe's Kitchen, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant chain, has been given the go-ahead from the township to open on Sycamore Street in the space formerly occupied by Cosi.

The eatery, which serves Mediterranean dishes with a Southern twist, needed conditional use approval from the township to open the restaurant in Goodnoe's Corner. The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the conditional use application at a meeting Wednesday.

Zoe's Kitchen will be located next to Jules Thin Crust and, like Cosi, will share a patio for outdoor seating.

According to Zoe's Kitchen representative Brian Waghalter, the restaurant is a "fast casual concept" that is family-oriented and affordable with an average menu item price of less than $10.

Waghalter said everything served at Zoe's Kitchen is made in-house. The chain began in Alabama and now has 78 locations, Waghalter said.
