Essential information about the day ahead in Newtown
1. The program planning meeting scheduled for Tuesday at Council Rock High School North was cancelled because of the weather and has been rescheduled for tonight. The meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., will give parents a chance to learn about course offerings for the 2011-2012 school year.
2. Tuesday’s meeting for parents of students taking the Studies In Sexuality class was also postponed to today at 6 p.m. It will be held tonight at Council Rock High School North in lecture room four.
3. The Council Rock High School North PTO will hold a meeting at the school this morning at 9:30 a.m.

4. A six-week evening yoga class being offered by the Newtown Township Parks and Recreation starts tonight. The class begins at 7 p.m. and is $54 for residents, $68 for nonresidents. To register or for more information, visit www.newtownfun.com.
