4. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, the Council Rock South English department is opening up a school-wide assignment to the community. The school is inviting members of the community to write a 150-250 word essay that focuses on thier memories of Sept. 11. Send sentiments to mtaylor@crsd.org with the subject line "Tell Us Your Story."

5. is also commemorating the 10th anniversary of 9/11 with a moment of silence and wreath dedication Friday at the Newtown Campus. The Student Programming Board is selling t-shirts to benefit the Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield. Each shirt is $10 and can be purchased at the Student Life Program Window, Room 112.
