Annual Memorial Day Parade Kicks Off at 9 a.m.

The parade is organized by American Legion Post 440.

It's Memorial Day. Today is the day we pay tribute to all of our service men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Commemorate their brave sacrifice in true Newtown fashion by coming out for the annual Memorial Day parade, organized by American Legion Post 440.

It kicks off at 9 a.m. at the Commons West Building on Newtown-Yardley Road. From there, the parade will go through the Newtown Cemetery, where a short ceremony will be held. Then, the marchers will head down Elm to Washington, then Lincoln to Centre. It will pause at the World War I monument at the library.
