August 20: Group Raising Funds for Cemetery & Newtown Edition of Amazing Race

Essential information about the day ahead in Newtown.

1. The Guardians of the National Cemetery at Washington Crossing were at the Grange Fair to inform locals about the cemetery and also to collect funds for Wreaths Across America. The Wreaths Across America program places remembrance wreaths on the graves of veterans. Guardians of the National Cemetery are looking to raise enough funds to cover the cost of $15 wreaths that will sit at the nearly 4,000 graves, according to the group.
