Comedian John Branyan To Perform At The Crossing

Branyan has appeared in Jay Leno's National Comedy Competition and is currently the head writer for Clip-Wit, a radio humor service. He'll perform at the church's Annual Community Christmas Dinner on Dec. 8 and 9.

 

Washington Crossing United Methodist Church has a special guest coming to dinner.

Comedian John Branyan will peform at the church’s Annual Community Christmas Dinner, to be held Dec. 8 and 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Branyan, a familiar face in comedy clubs, theaters and colleges nationwide, is known for his keen observations about real-life experiences. The Indianapolis native is known for his punch lines about everyday experiences, including dentists, electronic cigarettes, ducklings, automatic flushing toilets, and Snuggies.

Each year, The Crossing sponsors the Community Christmas Dinner, which draws more than 300 church members and area residents each night. The meal is a full Christmas dinner with all of the trimmings, according to organizers.

Children are welcomed to attend. The church nursery will be open for children (infants to age 3) during Branyan’s performance only.

Admission is $10 for adults; $7 for children ages 3 to 12 or $40 for a family (immediate family living in same household).
