Guest Editor Says Thanks

Newtown Patch's editor Kara Seymour returns from maternity leave on Monday.

For a little more than three months, I've had the honor, privilege and absolute pleasure of serving as the guest local editor for Newtown Patch. Today, I bid Newtown goodbye - somewhat.

Thank you to all of you in the Newtown area who have let me cover your community.

Thank you to those who have greeted me at government meetings, at local eateries and as I covered the news that impacts the your life.

Thank you to all the wonderful business people in the community who have contacted me, let me interview them and contributed to Newtown Patch.

Thank you to my excellent colleagues who have contributed to the site over the past few months.

Newtown is lucky to have such a wonderful main street, a vibrant business community and a town full of wonderful folks so willing to pass along news tips and upload content to our site.

Starting Monday, I’ll be transitioning to the role of guest editor for Levittown Patch. But I’m sure my byline will be featured on Newtown Patch from time to time.

Personally, I know that I’ll continue to visit the community and explore the wonderful parks and businesses that make Newtown ... well, Newtown.

Editor Kara Seymour returns Monday from her maternity leave. Please send all news tips and story ideas to kara.seymour@patch.com.

Thanks for a great summer!

Tom did a great job. I enjoyed his articles, though I still disagree with him respectfully on the publishing of a certain picture along with an article.
