June 21: Kids Hosting Lemonade Stand for a Cause

1. It's going to be another hot one today. Weather.com is predicting a high of 97 degrees. 

2. Children at Burgundy and Saxony drives in the Woods of Saxony development are hosting a lemonade stand today to raise money for their friend with cancer. The children will also be selling hand-painted shells and rocks. The lemonade stand will open at 1 p.m. 

3. The Newtown Borough Council and Newtown Township Board of Supervisors are holding a joint meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the Newtown Township .

4. The Council Rock School Board meets tonight at the at 7:30 p.m.

5. It's Spirit Night at . The fundraiser is organized by Action Karate. Ten percent of sales from 4 to 8 p.m. will be donated to the Bucks County Housing Group. Be sure to mention to the cashier that you're dining to benefit the cause.
