More Than 1,000 Students to Graduate from Council Rock

More than 1,000 seniors from Council Rock's two high schools will graduate Wednesday.

More than 1,000 students from Council Rock’s two high schools will graduate in separate ceremonies Wednesday.

According to information provided by the district, 512 students will graduate from Council Rock High School North and 505 students will graduate from Council Rock High School South.

According to the district, more than 78 percent of the students in North’s graduating class will attend a four-year college.  Thirteen percent will go on to two-year college and four have plants to enlist in the military.

Of South’s graduates, 72 percent will attend a four-year college, 23 percent will go to a two-year college and one student will enroll in the military.

“In total, the Council Rock Class of 2013 was offered over 13 million dollars in scholarships. The class accepted $5,175,000 in scholarships for the schools they chose to attend,” according to information from the district.
