NBA Egg Hunt on for Saturday

The hunt was originally scheduled for last Saturday, but was postponed due to weather.

 

Looks like the plan to postpone the Newtown Business Association's annual egg hunt has paid off.

The hunt, which was supposed to be held last Saturday but was postponed due to rain, will be held this Saturday, April 7. And the forecast looks perfect.

According to weather.com, sunshine will be plentiful Saturday and temperatures will be in the low 60s.

The hunt will be held at Pickering Manor Field, 226 North Lincoln Ave., Newtown Borough. Children of all ages are welcomed to attend this free event. The Easter Bunny will be there and children will have the chance to search for candy-filled eggs as well as other prizes.

Newtown Business Association members will donate the prizes and candy.

Children will be divided into different age groups. There will even be an adult and grandparent egg hunt.

The hunt begins promptly at 9 a.m. No advance registration is necessary but organizers recommend families arrive by 8:45 a.m. to prepare for the festivities.
