OwowCow To Open Today At Noon

At long last, Owowcow is opening its doors today at Carousel Village off Durham Road in Wrightstown.

This is the artisan creamery's second location. The first is in Ottsville, about 35 minutes north of Newtown. However, many area residents travel to the Ottsville location and are eager to have the all-natural ice cream available locally.

Owowcow's product is made literally from scratch with all-natural ingredients. That means no factory-produced ice cream bases with chemicals and preservatives. No high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, sweeteners, or flavors.  Just organic cream from Way-Har Farm, locally-produced free-range eggs, organic sugar, and other all-natural ingredients.

In March, Newtown Patch reported that Owowcow founder and owner John Fezzuoglio had plans to open his second location in Wrightstown.

And for weeks, Owowcow's Facebook page has been filled with comments inquiring about the status of the Carousel Village location.
