  • Serenity Nails and Spa: Located in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, Serenity Nails and Spa offers a good pedicure or manicure for a reasonable price ($30 and under). It is clean, has a relaxing atmosphere, and a friendly staff. Plus, the water is always nice and hot (a must for a good pedicure.) Just note: you can’t tip on your credit card so be sure to have a couple bucks for your technician.
  • Freestyle Salon and Day Spa: Located on Sycamore Street, Freestyle is an excellent place for a relaxing, long pedicure at a great price. For just $35, the friendly staff will pamper you with a thorough pedicure, complete with a satisfying foot and leg massage. Manicures start at $16. An appointment is helpful here.
  • David J. Witchell: At David J. Witchell, you don’t just get a pedicure -- you get an overall calming experience. A pedicure at this serene spa, located on State Street, is sure to leave you feeling pampered and rejuvenated. But it’s not for the budget-conscience. Albeit worth every penny, the spa pedicure is $60; a hot stone pedicure is $85. An appointment is necessary. David J. Witchell also offers an 85-minute reflexology pedicure for $85. (Ahem, husbands, Mother’s Day is a mere five weeks away.  And nothing says I love you like an 85-minute foot massage. Honey, are you reading?)
