Regional Roundup: Neshaminy Teachers Returning To Classroom Friday

: The Neshaminy Federation of Teachers has announced teachers will return to work Friday.  in hopes of forcing a contract deal.

 Area students who have been nominated for the nation's service academies were honored at a ceremony Monday night in Doylestown. Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-Bucks) presided over the ceremony at the Bucks County Courthouse.

The Upper Southampton supervisors will meet tonight for the first regularly-scheduled board meeting of the new year. The agenda includes a presentation on proposed water and sewer projects.

The HV Fire Company made 546 runs throughout the year (not counting drills and special details), including eight house fires.

 The students participated in service opportunities at 32 sites throughout Philadelphia, Bucks County and New Jersey in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King.
