September may seem a long way off, but organizers of the Newtown Grant Garage sale are already gearing up for the annual event.
Registration is now open for the Newtown Grant Garage Sale, which is set for Saturday, Sept. 29. The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 30.
This year, the sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The hours have been extended, according to sale organizer Brandon Wind. In years past, the sale ended at noon.
Priority goes to Newtown Grant residents. Members of the public can register for a spot if there are spaces left. The cost is $10 per spot, plus $8 if you want to rent a table.
Registration can be completed online at www.nggaragesale.com.
The sale typically attracts more than 100 sellers and between 1,500 to 2,000 shoppers.
Everything from clothing to children’s toys, furniture, household items, electronics and more is offered.
