Registration Still Open for Saturday's Candy Cane Hunt at Roberts Ridge

The Newtown Township Candy Cane Hunt gets underway at 11 a.m. at Roberts Ridge Park.

Newtown Township's annual Candy Cane Hunt is Saturday and there are spots left for children ages 3 to 7 to participate.

The hunt, organized by Newtown Township Parks and Recreation, kicks off at 11 a.m. at Roberts Ridge Park. It is free but registration is required. 

Children will be separated into two age groups. Santa will be there to join in the fun. After the hunt, there will be holiday refreshments and prizes.

Parents must accompany children. Bring a camera for candid photos with Santa.

Volunteers 15 and older are also needed.
