Renovations Begin at Future Corner Bakery Cafe

The cafe is opening at the former Blockbuster.

Construction has begun at the former Blockbuster to make way for a Corner Bakery Café.

The café, which has received approval from the township, is slated to be 5,000-square-feet and have 119 seats.  Patch was unsuccessful in reaching Corner Bakery Café corporate offices in Texas to find out when the Newtown location would be opening.

The restaurant currently has locations in King of Prussia, Philadelphia, Horsham and Ardmore, among others. There are franchises in several states, including New Jersey, Virginia, California, Maryland, Texas and more.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu includes a range of salads, sandwiches, soups, kids' selections, pastas and bakery items.
