The event is organized by the Newtown Business Association (formerly known as the Newtown Business and Professional Association).

This year, the breakfast has a new location. It used to be at the Brick Hotel, explained Mick Petrucci, president of the Newtown Business Association. “It just kept getting bigger and bigger,” Petrucci said, adding that it has been moved to The Temperance House to accommodate the crowd.

“This is a wonderful Newtown tradition and the money collected goes towards a worthwhile charity who is also a member of the Association,” Petrucci said.

The menu includes: French toast, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit cocktail and an assortment of muffins, Danish and bagels. There will also be juices, coffee and tea.

Of course, Santa will be there. And if that's not enough entertainment, local singers will be present to perform Christmas music.
