Newtown still sporting a festive winter look

With the holiday season over and almost 350 days until next Christmas, Newtown is still dressed up with festive winter decorations. From wreaths and garland, to big red bows, many homes in Newtown Borough and the surrounding area are still beautifully decorated for the winter.

The snow on the ground helps to make these lovely homes and festive decorations look even prettier. If you are interested in seeing the interiors of some of these wonderfully decorated homes, there is already a date set for Newtown's 48th Annual Open House Tour.

It will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at 10 a.m.  The Annual Open House Tour gives residents and guests an exclusive tour through many of Newtown's  private local homes and historic buildings decorated for the holiday season.
