School Trip Reportedly Canceled After Poisoning Scam Revealed
Superintendent Mark Klein told parents in a letter Friday that the trips have been cancelled and police are investigating, according to a story posted Sunday on phillyburbs.com.
According to a story published Sunday on www.phillyburbs.com, two parents of Goodnoe Elementary School students were plotting to sicken children aboard an upcoming lunch cruise field trip so they could later file a lawsuit.
According to the article, Superintendent Mark Klein sent a letter home Friday informing parents that the upcoming trips aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia have been cancelled in light of the plot.
