Smoothie King is holding a fundraiser all day Friday to benefit the Newtown Theatre's digital projector fund.
Smoothie King in Newtown, located on South Eagle Road in the same shopping center as the Farmers Market, will donate $1 for every smoothie sold to the digital projector fund. Smoothie King is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
The theatre is nearing its $100,000 goal to replace its 64-year-old 35mm film projector with digital technology.
