Taylorsville Rd to Close Weekdays for PennDOT Repairs

Starting Monday and going through May 24, Taylorsville Road between Route 532 and I-95 will be closed during the day so the roadway base can be repaired.

 

PennDOT announced today it is planning to close a portion of Taylorsville Road for a week later this month.

Starting this Monday and going through Thursday, May 24, Taylorsville Road between Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road) and I-95 in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships will be closed during the day so the roadway base can be repaired, PennDOT said. The work will result in weekday closures from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During construction, Taylorsville Road through traffic will be detoured over Route 532 (Washington Crossing Road), Route 32 (River Road) and Woodside Road, PennDOT said.

PennDOT advises motorists to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area.  EMS vehicles and school buses will be allowed access through the construction zone.  Residents will also have access to their properties.
