According to event organizers, Garrett has performed in Christian music groups and as a solo Christian artist for more than 20 years. “Her eclectic body of work spans the genres of contemporary Christian, Gospel, R&B and opera. Her familiar face and distinctive voice have been featured as a singer and guest speaker at Christian conferences, seminars and other special events throughout the Delaware Valley,” said a press release from The Crossing.

Currently, she travels nationwide leading praise and worship music for Gwen Mouliert, a pastor, Bible teacher and founder of “Proclaiming the Word Ministries” based in Pomona, N.J.

Garrett’s musical career, which began at age 17, now includes five CD releases and work as a musical director. Garrett has led singing groups and served as a worship leader at churches and conferences, as well as directed 100-voice choirs at New York’s Lincoln Center and at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

In addition to the Fall Kick-off Breakfast, The Crossing Women’s Ministry is also featuring other events throughout September.

Pastor Ruth Hendrickson organized the breakfast meeting and other event for women in Bucks County and surrounding neighborhoods.

“We want women who attend our breakfast meeting to be inspired, refreshed, and encouraged. This fall, we offer a wide range of inspirational and information Bible study classes to help them with their personal growth and deeper understanding of faith and the Bible. We also offer community events for women and children,” Hendrickson said.

The kick-off breakfast is free and open to the public.
