Thousands Turn Out for Welcome Day

The annual street fair was again a success, with thousands coming to Sycamore Street for games, food, and fun.

Thousands came out for Welcome Day Sunday to enjoy a variety of activities, including games, food, music, and demonstrations.

This was the first year the festival was held on Sycamore Street. Vendors and exhibitors included everyone from artists, to local businesses, food, music, and more. Welcome Day is sponsored by the Newtown Business and Professional Association.

Newtown Patch joined in on the fun with its own booth, complete with balloons, jelly beans, and a flower pot raffle.

Check out our photo gallery of the day.
