Warminster police on Tuesday arrested a Doylestown woman and two Jamison men, charging them with several counts of burglary and related offenses. Newtown Township police assisted in the investigation.


Developers of The Promenade have released a sketch of the mixed-use project slated for the former Acme site on Sycamore Street. . The supervisors will consider the application at its next meeting on June 13.


The Council Rock School District has reached a tentative three-year agreement with the Council Rock Education Association (CREA) and the Council Rock Education Support Professionals Association (CRESPA).


Two more black bear sightings have been reported to the Newtown Township Police Department. The sightings occurred Thursday night.


McCaffrey’s will open its fourth store in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center where  is currently located. Owner Jim McCaffrey told Patch he expects the store to open its doors in early July.
