Touch a Truck Event Moved to Tuesday

A 60 percent chance of rain and snow prompted Newtown Township Parks and Recreation to move the free event from Monday to Tuesday.

Newtown Township Parks and Recreation's free Touch a Truck event has been moved from Monday to Tuesday.

Parks and Recreation department Program Coordinator Megan Prusienski said a 60 percent chance of rain and snow in the forecast for Monday prompted the change in scheduling.

She said in the event of snow, the plows and trucks would need to be on the road and wouldn't be available.

The event will be held at the same time and place—1 to 3 p.m. at the Newtown Township Municipal Building parking lot.
