Township Hosting Second Annual Tennis Ball Hunt

The hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 and is for children ages 4 to 9.

 

It’s almost Easter, which means lots of egg hunts and springtime festivities are coming up.

But next weekend, Newtown Township Parks and Recreation is inviting kids to hunt for not eggs but tennis balls.

The township’s second annual tennis ball hunt will be held Sunday, April 1 at Roberts Ridge Park. The hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. and is for children ages 4 to 9. (Parents must accompany their children.) 

In addition to hunting for tennis balls, children will meet Scooby Doo and play a variety of games, which the Bucks County Tennis Association is organizing.  There will be light refreshments provided by .
