Valet Parking Comes to Newtown Borough
The three-month trial of a valet parking service began last week.
Valet parking has officially started in Newtown.
Last week, the borough’s valet parking service debuted. It will continue for a three-month trial and will be available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Patrons who wish to utilize the valet service will be charged $8 to park for the day. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursdays and from 9 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
The car drop-off area is located on State Street in front of the , however those who use the service can visit any downtown location.

Temperance House General Manager Erica Darragh and the Newtown Corporation have led the effort to bring valet parking to town, with the hopes that it will improve business and attract more people to the area. Borough Council approved the measure earlier this fall.
